This is fourth and last week of the 2011 Dating and Lifestyle Kickstart Guide. Thursdays, we've covered the dating aspect. If you missed it, here are week 1week 2, and week 3.

I’ve been obsessed with data lately. I’ve also been obsessed with the grudges I’ve had - and in some cases, still do.

In this extensive post, you will learn...

  • How everyone has a grudge and why it can help you succeed.
  • What you think about dating is wrong and why it’s a good thing.
  • How the 10/10/10 system can help you become more successful in dating.

Book the Ideal Social Calendar in 10 Weeks

This is fourth and last week of the 2011 Dating and Lifestyle Kickstart Guide. Tuesdays, we've covered the lifestyle aspect. If you missed it, here are week 1, week 2, and week 3.

I’ve made a conscious effort to really focus on people who are looking to make change. Sometimes, you need someone to cut through the non-sense and tell you what’s truly preventing you from success. The problem is most people don’t want to hear it. “It’s too harsh,” they would say. I think it’s even more interesting that when it comes to feedback, most people ASSUME it’s negative.

The Ex-It Strategy

This is a guest post written by Sara Sharnoff.  Sara is currently finishing her Masters Degree in Family Therapy at the University of Massachusetts Boston.  After years of feeling let down because her life did not resemble a John Hughes movie, Sara decided to devote her time to studying couples and intimate relationships.  During her free time she loves to drink copious amounts of coffee, cheer on the Boston Celtics, and explore the gorgeous sights in New England.  She's here to share her perspective on relationships.

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and it often serves as a time for people to evaluate their current romantic relationship.  Couples spend hours choosing the perfect romantic restaurant, selecting a beautifully crafted card, and ensuring that their partner feels loved and adored.  Surely they don’t have time to think about anything, or anyone, else. Right? Right?

How A Client Helped Me "Get Lucky"

This is Week 3 of the 2011 Dating and Lifestyle Kickstart Guide. Thursdays, we cover the dating aspect. If you missed it, here is week one's dating component. Here is week two.

I want to share something awesome that got lost in the fray. I helped a friend, Tim, on Twitter, who was also a client of mine, handle some important issues in his life. My advice, combined with his action, did so well for him, he was willing to pay for another client’s session with me.

And after working with the Alex for an hour, this is what he had to say shortly after,

Don’t Should All Over Yourself

This is Week 3 of the 2011 Dating and Lifestyle Kickstart Guide. Tuesdays, we cover the lifestyle aspect. If you missed it, here is week one's lifestyle component. Here is week two.

After a busy weekend with clients, I reached out to them for feedback and follow up, explaining next steps and what they need to focus on. Their reply was something I’ve found to be VERY familiar.

“You’re right. I should do that. I know I should take more risks and approach more people.”

It’s funny. You see, I know how much people use the word should based on their lack of using the word, but. Most people who will make an attempt to push themselves will admit the problem or make an excuse in hopes of finding or being given a solution. Others accept their shoulduation and don’t even bother to address the problem, let alone the solution.

People should on themselves all the time.
