Moustaches and Mates: How Participating in Movember May Get You a Date

Guys, listen up!  During the month of November you have the option to kill two birds with one stone: Grow facial hair for a great cause and attract women in the process.  Sounds pretty awesome, right?

Movember is an event that takes place annually and involves the growing of facial hair to raise awareness for men’s health issues such as testicular cancer, prostate cancer and suicide. As someone who has participated in Movember in some capacity dating back to 2009, this has always been a part of my life.

More so now that I’ve taken a liking to my facial hair these days.

Survey says women, and men, find men with facial hair more attractive than men without and let’s face it, who doesn’t love a guy who supports a great cause?

The Movember Movement got its start in 2003 with just 30 Mo Bros and has grown to over 5 million Bros and Sistas today.  Over 20 countries participate in the movement including Australia where it was founded, The United States, Hong Kong and Sweden.  Regardless your geographical location,  you can participate in Movember.

Basically, you grow and maintain a moustache for 31 days, support an amazing cause, and potentially land a few dates.  It’s pretty much a no brainer. Looking to keep your Movember ‘stache looking it’s best all year long? I’ve learned incorporating finasteride into your daily routine helps create thick, healthy hair that lasts.

It’s grooming that ‘stache that’s key to getting dates, guys. I can say this now that I have a beard.
